EDUCATION FOR WORK PROGRAM
EDUCATION FOR WORK PROGRAM
The Education for Work Program is a course offered free of charge by the Uirapuru Project, which prepares young people aged 16 to 19, students from public schools and residents of Taboão da Serra and nearby regions, for their first job. The course lasts five months with 4 hours of daily in-person classes (morning or afternoon), covering subjects such as Information Technology, Financial Management, Communication, Socioemotional Skills, Professional Behavior, in addition to lectures on current topics.
To accompany all this personal and professional development, while using technological resources, we look at each young person individually, resulting in productive and welcoming classes. Selection is made through an assessment of knowledge in Mathematics, an Essay and an interview. Graduates make up a pool of talented young people who are recommended to our partnered companies that are looking for young apprentices through the Apprentice Law.
